Lessons that Instruct and Inspire
From time to time our program will focus on a specific aspect of martial arts training such as fitness, confidence, discipline etc. These individual subjects are addressed in our lessons where we highlight just how martial arts can help improve many areas of our students’ lives.
Stories That Teach
Our “Stories” program is another innovative way we help educate our students about important lessons in life. Stories are not just for children, but for adults as well, as we rediscover the benefits of honesty, respect, work ethic, friendship and other values that make our lives more enjoyable.
In addition to our lessons and stories, you will find our school’s monthly newsletter a wealth of information on a wide range of subjects. Each quarter’s exciting issue is packed with informative articles as well as all the exciting events taking place in the school.
United offers special fun-filled family events where our students can experience new concepts at seminars, participate in tournaments or just have fun! One of these events includes an Annual awards banquet designed to recognize all students for their hard work and dedication while being entertained by magicians and comedians.
Another special event is our annual spring family picnic complete with a moon walk, dunking tank, organized games and events as well as plenty of food.We also have our famous Ninja Camp where we instruct children in the way of traditional Ninja techniques as well as weapons of the ancient Ninja Warriors on a fun filled weekend camp out.
Still another special event is our Lock-ins (Parent's Night Out), where parents drop-off the children at 7:00 P.M.. and pick them up at 12 A.M. Activities include: Nerf Gun battles, Relay races, Dodgeball , Movies and Pizza! These events give the students a chance to develop new friendships and enhance existing ones, creating a strong team spirit among our students.
Tae Kwon-Do group classes feature self-defense instruction, physical conditioning, various reaction drills, and training exercises designed to build the skills necessary for effective self-defense. Enrolling in a group program allows you to attend two (2) regular sessions per week. Saturday classes at 10:00 a.m. can be used as a make-up class whenever you miss
or as one of your two weekly lessons. If you can dedicate to at least 2 classes per
week we promise that you will see dramatic gains.
Many people train two times during the week and use the Saturday class as a make-up whenever they miss. Others use the Saturday class for extra practice for an upcoming test or tournament, and some just can't get enough and come all three days a week. Whatever your need, our convenient class times will fit your schedule.
TKD Tigers was designed for children between the ages of 3&5. Because of their short attention span we keep class interesting with various karate drills as well as gymnastics, tumbling skills and other fun activities. Our TKD Tigers classes will develop your child’s coordination, discipline, balance, timing and basic motor skills while providing a fun way to build their confidence and self-esteem.
